There is ample parking beside the
cottage.
Assistance can be given with luggage.
The main entrance to the cottage is via a
ramped path leading to double doors.
A second entrance leads directly to the
first floor and has six steps with a handrail either side.
The two bedrooms and bathroom are on the
ground floor and doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs.
Access to the first floor lounge/ dining
room and kitchen is by a staircase.
Both ground floor and first floor are
level.
An external raised decked area can be
accessed directly from the lounge.
The garden has a sloping lawned area and
a large pond inside a level enclosure.
Sensory features include the sound of
water and wild birds and there are trees and plants to touch and smell.
Assistance dogs are welcome and there is
an enclosed area for them to run free.
An Assistance Dog walking service can be
provided.
Delivery of provisions can be provided.
Both Nigel and Fiona are trained in
disability awareness.
Public transport leaves from the village
centre approximately one mile from the cottage but is infrequent.
The nearest town is Newcastle Emlyn,
seven miles from the cottage.
The nearest Shop Mobility scheme is in
Aberearon, fifteen miles away.
